TANYA REICHARD
While TANYA attended LSU in the late 80’s & the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts from 1983 to 1985 (a school for the gifted and talented), she performed on the Coffee House & Louisiana's southern crawfish circuit. Baton Rouge became home base and there Tanya developed a following of loyal fans. Returning to north Louisiana in January of 1994, Tanya met Nathan Trent (her producer) who brought her to the >Unity Music Group and cut a demo of four of her songs. Bob Grove liked what he heard and Tanya signed a "spec" album deal.

‘Haunting the Ruins’

went into production in the spring of 1995. Nathan collected some of the most talented musicians in the North Louisiana area to work on the album. When it was finished in the Fall of ‘95, ‘Haunting the Ruins’ had evolved into a collection of songs presented in diverse styles, indicative of Tanya’s variety of musical influences, and the uniquely different styles of the other musicians on the album. Conceptually, the Album is Tanya Reichard’s catharsis. Her songs and performance are an emotional outpouring of her experiences and are very personal lyrically.
